Speacial thanks to big hung muscle hunk Matthew Rush for his 48 hour visit in the Washington, D.C. area this past week for our MightyMen.Com anniversary events at Freddies Beach Bar in Arlington, VA, The Leather Rack on Connecticut Avenue, his DCFukit campaign and finally our anniversary party at the best all male erotic club in the country, Secrets.

We had a great time and a lot of fans had to opportunity to meet Matthew Rush, shake hands, take a few photos and get a feel of those big hunky muscles, not to mention getting to see him dance naked and in person.

A week before the Matthew Rush came to Washington, D.C., one of the bartenders at Secrets asked me if I thought Matthew Rush would be interested in donating some time to video a public service announcement for a local AIDS awareness organization that provides information, condoms and lube to the local community.  While standing at the bar with Matt Bartender, I shot Matthew Rush a simple text message and he replied immediately with a “yes”.

Friday afternoon after lunch the DCFukit crew showed up at my place and taped Rush’s PSA.  Bartender Matt gets a special shout out for stepping up and asking a simple question and for making it happen.  I am sure having Matthew Rush speaking out for DCFukit will bring the organization another level of awareness in D.C. and nation wide.

Matthew Rush is no stranger to the fight against AIDS in the United States and in particular in the Washington, D.C. area.  He was generous during his two day visit to nation’s capitol and shot a very important video segment for the DC-FUKIT campaign, DCfukit.org is a grass roots community based prevention program developed by men who have sex with men specifically for our community.  Watch for Matthew Rush’s informative video on the DC FUKIT site soon.  I know I can speak for a lot of guys here in the D.C. area when I say that it was very generous of Mr. Rush to donate several hours of his time, and his image to tape such an important message for the D.C. area and the nation.

Special thanks to Will Clark for hosting the event last night.  Having Will host the event was a great choice and there were many Will Clark fans in the audience.  It was great to have him in D.C. for a few days.   Will Clark is a pro.  He knew exactly what he was doing and the crowd loved him as much as they loved Matt Rush.  Will was our first MightyMen.Com Naked Bartender back in 1997, so it was fitting to have him back to host the 12th anniversary party.
